In this professional account development role you will target senior executives and managers with a compelling set of messages. Using business research to identify pain points, you will engage in a credible and professional dialog via the telephone and email with the goal of developing territory and scheduling meetings between our OSRs and targeted executives.
Responsibilities:
- Use a consultative sales approach to develop value propositions for engaging senior executive and management prospects (CFO, COO, CIO, EVP, SVP, Director levels).
- Utilize business analysis skills to evaluate the financial and constituent service performance of target organizations to identify key pain points.
- Create tailored messaging for targeted calls
- Use strong verbal phone communication skills to engage targeted contacts with strategic and tailored value propositions.
- Develop reports and Communicate pipeline activity including current prospects, competitive information, and prospect feedback.
- Enter all pertinent lead information into the CRM system.
- Work closely with other sales staff to develop account strategies and schedule meetings.
- Identify and report product opportunities, competitive information and marketing trends to management.
- Manage multiple territories simultaneously.
- Organizes and prioritizes calls to meet sales objectives, call goals and increase market share.
- Develop account strategy and relationship building with key personnel within targeted accounts.
- Develop and deliver relevant presentations at team meetings and departmental meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Computer literate with a general knowledge of the Software/IT industry.• Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
- Working experience with software, including: MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM systems.
- College Degree
- Comfort with a primarily phone driven sales environment
Preferred
- 2-5 years of successful sales experience
- Knowledge of the Association Market
