Senior User Experience Designer (Web)

TMA Resources is an innovative software company that offers CRM solutions to the non-profit and association marketplace.

The Senior User Experience Designer will lead the discovery, research and design efforts for our clients’ e-commerce implementations and the implementations of various other Web based applications.

This individual will:

  • Work with business analysts to gather client requirements and document user scenarios
  • Create both workflow and graphical designs to yield a successful user interface
  • Design and conduct user research studies
  • Analyze and interpret user research results, along with industry standard best practices, to prepare client recommendations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams on the continual development of corporate UI/UX standards
  • Provide training to various divisions on best practices in UI/UX

Experience and Education:

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in human factors, human-computer interaction, information architecture, usability or a related field
  • Strong understanding of user interface design principles, with 5+ years of proven experience
  • Must be adept at creating workflow (wireframe) designs as well as visual (graphic) designs to optimize the user experience
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and deliver a complex design project
  • Experience designing and executing a variety of user research studies including heuristic evaluations, lab studies with think aloud protocol, focus group testing and field research to evaluate new trends and functionality
  • Have experience interpreting and analyzing technical documentation to inform the UX process
  • Ability to create meticulous prototypes and designs to accurately reflect client requirements
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a cross functional team with limited supervision
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of such tools as Axure and Adobe Photoshop are highly desired
