CRM Solutions Workshop

Association marketers have more tools at their disposal than ever before. But, just as the number of tools have grown dramatically, so too have the number of touch points by which constituents interact with the association. Understanding the interaction between tools and touch points–and how those integrate into Personify–is the objective of the CRM Solutions Workshop.

We’ll discuss the range of marketing tactics now commonly available (e.g., social media, email, direct mail, etc.) and the many ways in which constituents respond to marketing efforts (e.g., self-service websites, call centers, social media, etc.) We will discuss how one make sense of promotions going out and the customer engagements coming back in. How does one assess the value of each effort? Finally, how does one tweak the next round of marketing efforts to increase revenue and enhance engagement?

Mobile Solutions Workshop

The power of mobile, in some form or fashion, is now an accepted fact. Associations are scrambling to get something – anything! – up and running in response to leadership and constituent requests. Like other businesses, associations are moving boldly into the mobile arena, often without a solid mobile strategy to guide their actions.

And, the mobile providers love it.

This workshop will begin with the discussion of a wide range of use cases that should be considered before proceeding with the development of a comprehensive mobile strategy. Mobile web, mobile apps and mobile platforms will all be examined.  Using a proven methodology, mobile will be discussed in the context of the much broader association marketing and engagement world. Participants will leave the workshop armed with a mobile strategy document outline that can then be modified to suit their individual organizations’ needs.

Analytics Solutions Workshop

Peter Drucker famously noted that , “What gets measured, gets managed.” Analytics today are at the heart of every well-run organization, and there are more tools available now to management than ever before for understanding how individuals, departments and entire organizations are performing against stated objectives.

In this facilitated learning exercise, attendees will develop sample scenarios and then work within a proven methodology for developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from both operational and strategic data that support the scenario. Attendees will learn how different personas within the organization consume different types of performance data through a variety of technologies, including mobile.

Charlie Melidosian of Association Management Center will talk about their mobile experience and about their decision making process for deciding to step it up from individual apps to a full mobile platform.

Amy McNee the VP, Solution Engineering, Analytics with Business Objects, a market leader in the Business Intelligence (BI) arena, will enlighten us on the differences between operational and strategic analytics, how to build a “self-service” BI environment, and the importance of mobile BI tools.
