Get On Your Feet at TAUG to Give Back

bomf1

This year at TAUG instead of just giving back, we are also getting active and hope you’ll join us! We are donating to the Indianapolis chapter of Back on My Feet as well as getting up to run with them on Monday, April 16th.

Back on My Feet is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to “creating independence and self-sufficiency” for the homeless population through running. This active approach is meant to encourage homeless and under-served people by building confidence, strength and self-esteem in a team environment. Residents of the program and volunteers commit to multiple morning runs on a weekly basis. Through their commitment and consistency in the Back on My Feet runs they are given opportunities to advance in the “Next Steps” phase which encourages members to create a new path for themselves. Most importantly they create a community that embraces equality, respect, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. There are currently nine chapters in various cities in the US.

It only takes that step out of bed, then a short ride down the elevator to join us.
Back on My Feet has coordinated a morning run with their residents and volunteers and TAUG attendees that will start at the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis. Speaking of the Marriott Downtown – (more…)

We’ve come up with a few ways for you to personalize your experience:

• Check out the tracks – and we don’t just mean the Indianapolis 500 speedway. (more…)

Stay Connected After TAUG

So you most likely made new friends at TAUG this year in addition to reconnecting with colleagues you have not seen since TAUG 2010.  Meeting people with similar jobs, interests, and AMS can be very helpful for your own career development.  Customers have been saying for years that one of the top reasons they attend TAUG is for the networking opportunities, but guess what? You don’t have to wait until next year to reconnect.  In fact you can start today by logging onto TMA Resources online  User Group Community.

The TMA Resources User Group community site enables current Personify/TIMSS users to interact with each other through discussion posts, blogs, and direct messages.  (more…)

A Night Out on the Town

Monday night you can explore Vancouver! You can explore on your own or you can hop on a bus to Yaletown for a Night Out on the Town.   Yaletown is one of Vancouver’s most eclectic and energetic neighborhood lined with local shops, galleries and restaurants.

In the previous years we have offered a dine-around option and let people sign up for certain restaurants in advance.  Because there is so much to see in Vancouver and sometimes not enough time to explore we decided to ditch the reservation and give you some flexibility to shop, explore, and grab a bite to eat.  The Yaletown Business Improvement Association has been actively involved in making your night out in Yaletown a memorable one. Why Do You Attend TAUG?

Every year we assemble a team of knowledgeable customers for our TAUG Program Committee.  We have an expert in the following categories to represent the different user personas: senior executive, systems administrator, accounting, membership/marketing/customer service, and developer.  We also appoint a chair to help lead the committee.  Our committee is an extremely integral part to proposing hot topics associated with Personify/TIMSS and assisting with assembling learning tracks at TAUG.  This year our group has enthusiastically participated in the planning, recommending speakers and a few committee members even offered up their own personal reasons for attending TAUG.

Here is what they have to say about why they attend TAUG: (more…)

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles…or just Planes, Passports, and Hotel Rooms

This year we are headed to Vancouver, Canada for TAUG.  It’s never too early to start preparing for your trip, eh?  The most important preparations for the trip to TAUG, besides an eagerness to learn more about Personify/TIMSS and have the time of your life, are your travel arrangements.

Are You Making the Most of TAUG?

TAUG is well known for its customer led break-out sessions and in depth training from TMA Resources’ experts but one highly valuable perk that is sometimes overlooked is the labs. TAUG offers four different types of labs. The labs are designed to give customers the opportunity to schedule one-on-one time with TMA Resources staff to ask specific questions pertaining to their organization. Basically it is complimentary – yes, free – consulting services.

So what’s each lab about, what’s new, and why should you take advantage of this time?

Business Consultant Lab
This lab offers a variety of TMA Resources Business Consultants who can address your specific questions about Personify/TIMSS. New to the lab this year, are hours to schedule a Universe Audit. If you have questions about Business Intelligence, Data Analyzer, querying etc. then don’t miss time to get face time with Business Intelligence and Reporting expert, Steve Coolbaugh.
